Part Time Student at Another Location (part time students take three or less classes from WeAVE)
- Contact the school counselor or principal and inform them of your intentions.
- Work with your approved WeAVE coordinator
- If your school does not have a WeAVE coordinator, please have the school administration contact us.
- Home district Superintendent needs to fill out an MOU with WeAVE
- Determine the courses you want to enroll in. The WeAVE coordinator will contact us with the enrollment information. Students/parents cannot enroll in courses directly.
- Have a reliable and accessible email address
- Complete the following tasks
- email your instructor
- complete the student orientation tutorial
- complete the Course Intro survey
- Begin working on your class(es)
The reason for admissions going through the home school counselor is that the school knows where their student is attending doesn't count them as a drop-out. The MOU is needed to negotiate services (special ed, sports, technology, library, etc..) provided by the home school district and any monetary exchange, if applicable.
Full Time Student at the Fort Washakie Campus
Must be able to physically attend at the Fort Washakie Campus
Steps for admission:
- Fill out the entire application packet. (or complete the form at the bottom of this page) This includes:
- Registration information
- Home Language Survey
- Medication Consent Form
- Health Office Information Form
- Release and Medical History Form
- Request for Records form for all previous high schools
- Student Statement
- Parent/Guardian Statement
- Letter of Recommendation from a former educator
- Return completed application packet and unofficial transcripts (if possible) to the FWCHS office
- Schedule a student/parent interview with the Principal
- Wait for acceptance notice.
